Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain swollen painful gums on the lower right back side can be due to
PERICORONITIS that is inflammation of the gum flap surrounding or covering the wisdom tooth caused by food lodgment between the gum flap and the tooth..
The pain on the entire side of face and tongue can be
radiating pain from the inflamed gum..
Nothing to worry consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of Pericoronitis antibiotics like
Augmentin and
Metronidazole and Anti-inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen can be advised for pain relief and reducing Inflammation and swelling..
Warm saline gargles also help..
Keep the area between the gum flap and tooth clean..
In case if there is recurring episodes of the same you can get an x ray done and in case if the tooth is impacted extraction can provide permanent relief..
In case if tooth is not impacted removal of gum flap can help..
As of now take Ibuprofen for pain relief and do warm saline gargles..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
