Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
17,5 -9 ,53. I am suffering from pain in the hip which rotate some time in the right thigh and left thigh and feel stifness during morning, earlier this pain was experienced last 2 years back but all of sudden disappeared its own. Now I have the same problem. I am a cricketer by profession. I am hla b27 positive. Can I ever played again.
I think you should get an X-ray and MRI of the hip joint to determine why this stiffness and treat it adequately. We cannot tell for sure now if you could ever play again until the right diagnosis is made. For the moment, do not play, apply analgesic cream locally, and take glucosamine, magnesium and calcium bone supplement.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
