General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to tendonitis. A physical examination by orthopedician will be helpful to rule out this. Hot fomentation and applying gels containing NSAIDs like nimusulide or ketoprofen, capsaicin and methyl salicylate will be helpful. In case there is no improvement then local injection of corticosteroids will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
