Ive had some pain in my left flank .. More like an intense cramp or tightening . I was doing some work in my yard and was feeling fine .. I dont think I drank very much water all day. Im sure its not a back strain.. It hasnt gone away after two days Could it be some thing wrong with my kidney
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in left flank. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query arthritis infection in the spine , pinched nerve , kidney infection , kidney stones , pancreatitis or spleen damage. I would suggest you to consult gastroenetologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound along with endoscopy and physical examination . Doctor may refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem or orthopedic surgeon for muscle and bone problem . For now eat light and non spicy , apply warm compresses and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
