Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have recently developed pains in my lower leg down to my foot. I thought that this was due to my knee op last Nov 2010 but my doctor gave me a blood test and said it is probably Neuralga. I thought you could only get Neuralga in your face? Sometimes the pain is unbearable and I feel like my leg is going to drop off. It also hurst when I'm driving as it is my left leg and sometimes it feels like it is going into a spasm. Can I be cured? it's like having toothache down your leg. I am 50 height 5ft 4 " a little over weight, i.e. 12stones. Have been on anti depressants for about 3 years due to various anxiety, i.e divorce, bereavement, finacial problems..
