Suggest Treatment For Pain In My Right Knee For A 65-year-old
For about a week now, my right knee has pain only when I kneel back (with my butt on my ankles). I m almost 65, but have always been able to do this action. My left knee still is fine. Thee s no swelling and once I do kneel back, I m able then to repeat the movement without pain... It s like it s stretching the joint out.
Your symptoms points towards osteoarthritis of knee joint. Please get an MRI of the knee. Treatment is simple in the form of calcium n analgesic supplements in initial stages. Later on surgery can be done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
