Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is 13. He experienced a sharp pain in his penis when he started to urinate while taking a shower and the pain got better when he stopped urinating. A lesser pain hit him a while later and he was not urinating when this pain came. These pains are sharp and they come quickly and go away pretty quickly. He is still a virgin and has not messed around with any girls in any kind of way, so there should be nothing associated with STDs. What do you suggest as possible reasons for the pain?

Suggest Treatment For Pain In Penis Of A Child
It could be little stone in urethra or any other lesion due to infection. Burning micturition, as it is called, can be due to above reasons. Also lesser intake of water may cause it. It s not necessarily STDs. Give himot of water to drink daily. May give lemon water too. If still persists, meet doctor near you immediately. Hope it helps you.
