Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a pain in my right hand joint upto 2-3 below from the base of the right thumb for one month. Can t brush teeth and carry even the slightest weight. Taking dolonex dt and febuget 40. But not much relief. It still pains a lot while working in the kitchen.
Hand pain is one feature of joint inflammation or arthritis. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult a rheumatologist for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
