Suggest Treatment For Pain In Right Hip, Back, Lower Abdomen And Groin Area

I am a 67 yr. old woman, with Hx of chronic pain d/t back injury, arthritic involvement d/t injury & age; and so on...however, for over a week now, I have had more than usual pain associated with my back, i.e.: when I step sideways to the right, I develop a sort of sciatica-type pain inn my right hip and right leg. HOWEVER, the discomforty that is more disturbing to me is pain in my left lower quadrant, almost like the low abdomen and groin area. It startyed being uncomfortable mostly with movement, but I d have to say it is starting to feel like it s becoming more consistently there all the time. Two nights ago, I palpated that area when I was lying in bed, and I did not note any tenderness or rebound pain...My bowel movements are the same as usual. I have no fever, nausea; appetite is normal. I do not recall any injury to that area, and I have not strained myself to any heavy lifting recently. Any thoughts on what could be going on? The pain scale was at first 2-3, but is now pretty steady at about 7. I am Rx d Avinza, 120 mg. and MSIR, 15 - 30 mg. q4h PRN for pain, and have taken this X 8 - 9 years. I have applied a mu8scle rubbing cream to the LLQ, and have additionally, today, applied a Lidoderm patch over that area...with no relief.

- Muscle or ligament strain
- Bulging or ruptured disks.
- Arthritis , spinal stenosis.
- Kidney problem.
