Suggest Treatment For Pain In Right Side Of Throat
hi the right side of my throat hurts so bad! it s been a week now. It s not an ear infection and it s not strep. The only reason the Dr. Precribed the Z-pack is because I have been in pain for so long. Today is the second day taking it. Is there anything else I can do. I have consistantly been using cloroseptic because it relives the pain and throat lozenges and taking ibuprofin. Thank You!

Causes of one sided throat pain could be peritonillitis/peritonsillar abscess,enlarged styloid process,salivary gland infections,mumps,parapharyngeal abscess.Start on warm salt water gargles,continue ibuprofen for pain and antibiotics.Avoid cold drinks at this period.
