Iam a teenager. I play soccer and run track. I had shinsplints and didnt think much of it. The pain has gotten worse and worse. Now its not only in my shin but my ankle too. It hurts when I walk or even have pressure on it. My athletic trainer told me she is thinking stress fractures but I have trouble believing it. Should I ask my parents to make an appointment at our doctors office and get it checked out?
