I woke Up Sunday with pain in center of my shoulder up to my neck ( left side) didn t fall didn t lift anything . Not getting any better hurts to turn neck not stinging pain in neck constant in center of shoulder feels enflamed aspirin , Ibuprofen doesn t relieve craziest thing
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. This kind of pain could be due to frequent poor posture, injury, inflammation or arthritis of the cervical or upper thoracic vertebrae. If a person comes with similar complaints to my clinic I would like to ask him about his occupation, age, any frequent movements at work place, long and steady awkward postures, long duration of computer work etc. At this time, you should take naproxen tablets to relieve pain. Have ice and hot water application alternatively to pain site. If the pain persist for several days you should consult an orthopedic doctor. In case of pain due to poor posture, you should try to alternate posture to prevent stretch on vertebrae. Avoid long time computer work, take breaks in between and have some stretch exercise. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care. Thank you.
