Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem of pain on back of neck can be due to cervical spondylosis. An orthopedic examination followed by a X ray can rule out this. I usually advise NSAIDs like aceclofenac muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine and neurotropic drugs in my patients. I also send them to physiotherapy along with this. Cervical collar application and cervical traction are helpful for this also. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks
I find this answer helpful
