Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Breast Due To Injury

I m 16 and I slipped and fell at the dinner table and my left breast hit the stool as I was falling down, it stung very badly for about 10 minutes and now it s just a small pain around the whole thing and in the middle of my breast...(my breasts are quite big) and it s a pain that won t go away. Is there anything I need to worry about?

Hi! Thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic.

3 to 5 days over the counter analgesics can be of help in such cases.

If there is no relief after this, just see whether there are any of the below mentioned changes in your breasts such as:

1. Change in skin texture such as puckering or dimpling (like orange skin)
2. If your nipple becomes inverted (pulled in) or changes it's position or shape
3. Constant pain in your breast or your armpit
4. A lump or thickening that feels different from rest of breast tissue
5. Redness or rash on the skin and/ or around nipple
6. A swelling in your armpit
7. Discharge from nipple
8. A change in size or shape of breast

If you get any of the above mentioned findings, immediately visit your nearest doctor for further evaluation.

Hope this information helps you.

Good bye for now!
