Hi,

Noted the history of chest pain at the heart area, which flares up when you are upset and getting worked up.
Surely this can be due to some muscular problem or costochondritis but it is of utmost importance to rule out the cardiac cause.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Rush to nearby hospital or ER to have an EKG/ECG and other cardiac tests like Echocardiography and so on, have an opinion of a Cardiologist.
If all the cardiac problems are ruled out then a course of anti-inflammatory with painkiller properties can help you the best.
Take full bed rest.
If a cardiac cause is found you will be treated accordingly.
Avoid stress and anxiety at any cost as these increase the pains of whatsoever nature.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant,
