Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Chest Through Shoulder Area
I have pain in my left shoulder blade. It actually feels like something is stabbing me thru the front left part of my chest thru my back shoulder blade. My back itches and hurts and the same time. The pain is off and on. Alleve nor Percocet relieves the pain. I ve been suffering for a few months now and my doctor can t figure it out.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have finger numbness . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like acid reflux , chest infection , muscle spasm or angina . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order tests like ECG , TMT along with complete blood profile and troponin t test . Doctor may prescribe isosorbide dinitrate along with aspirin , beta blockers , diuretics . Doctor may refer you to chest specialist for chest infection or gastroenterologist for acid reflux . For now eat light and non spicy , eat small and frequent meals , apply warm compresses on chest and shoulder and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
