Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Elbow

I have had active pain in my left elbow that seems to come on strong at times limiting my ability to bend and even reach my mouth to floss. I have used topical Pennsaid and Tylenol as my anti -Inflamatory meds but I feel I have Bersitis at time to an extreme. What do you recomend to combat it becoming chronic and to tap it down with onset of symptoms?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

You are having bursitis according to history....

In this type of inflammatory lesion usually swelling present....
So if it is present than you needs to remove bursa fluid with syringe and needle...
And if doctor feels than steroid injection given in joint... Because steroid is having best anti-inflammatory action....

Ibuprofen also useful....

Usually antibiotic course given empirically to cover possible bacterial infection...

If you post photo than more comment can given..

Advise : Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and than accordingly further treatment...

Take care
