Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Eyes
My left eye hurts around the socket. Feels like pressure. Have been to eye dr with no results. Went to urgent care and they prescribed prednisone and it removed the swelling. I finished the round of prednisone Friday and this morning the swelling and pain has returned

Treatment other than gentle eye irrigation is generally not recommended and should be reserved for medical professionals and eye doctors. For mild cases of eye discomfort, rest the eyes, take over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen (Advil) or acetaminophen (Tylenol), and avoid bright light.
