Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Foot

The heal of my right foot started hurting about a week ago. I do not recall banging or injuring it. I do work out and walk on treadmill 5 days per week. I always stretch my legs and calves thoroughly. My heal hurts when I put my weight on it. The pain radiates from the heal to the mid arch of my sole. It feels like the pain of a bruise but there is no visible swelling or bruising. It also hurts when I flex my foot. What could it be?
