Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Hand

I ve recently hurt my hand. It s bruised pretty bad. From the first knuckle on my right hand the middle finger, from the first to second knuckle is very purple. On top of my hand is yellowish and inflammed. It s stiff to move the ligaments and was hoping I didn t mess up my tendons.

Hi there.
It would be best to rest the hand and not to try and do to many things with it (immobilize). Putting on ice a couple of times a day will also help
A course of anti-inflammatory will also help a great deal and it will reduce the swelling and inflammation. In severe tissue damage it can take a while before the pain goes away.
If the pain does not go away and there is difficulty moving your fingers, rather go for an X-ray to see if there is a fracture and more appropriate treatment is needed.
