General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a history of Sciatica & it can be due to it. Other medical conditions that can cause it are arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, injury to the hips & obesity. Maintain healthy weight, do regular walking & lead an active live. Get tested (Blood tests & Imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI) tests) to detect pathology causing you discomfort. If its sciatica, the cause(like lumbar spinal stenosis & degenerative disc disease, etc) will require treatment. In the meantime take pain medicines & muscle relaxants for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
