Your 15 year old daughter has pain in her right leg, hips and back up to her big toe. She goes running. Since she has pain she should presently avoid overuse. The pain can be due to pulled muscle, overstretch or torn muscle, pinched
nerve, etc. You can get an X-ray done to rule out herniated discs as she is having backpain. She should remain adequately hydrated with fluids, soup and water to maintain muscle strength and energy.
Give her home made nutritious food rich in calcium,
magnesium, iron and other minerals. Give her high protein diet. Add veggies, fruits and berries to compensate for any
nutritional deficiency. Gentle
massage with pain relieving ointment may be helpful. You can give her
acetaminophen, one SOS to relieve discomfort. Help her stay at rest for a few days. You can get her a general health examination done along with the routine tests and investigations.
