Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Knee And The Hip

I have pain on the right side of my right foot plus pain in left knee and pain in my hib joints. Before this pain I was facing high pain on the back, the pain was at a particular point. In blood test its showing insufficiency of vit d3 and deficiency of vit b12 plus ESR is high. Can anyone gives his opinion what could be the problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you are having vitamin deficiency you can take vitamin B3, B6, B12 supplements. Neuropathy (Nerve damage) also causes hip pain that may radiate to the knees. Pain in the knee is commonly due to OA or RA. You are suggested to get blood & Imaging tests done. You should get clinically examined & assessed to detect Sciatica. If reports are positive, you will be treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
