Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my left elbow. I am right handed but my right elbow is fine. It hurts to even just touch my elbow. We recently got a new pup and she heels on my left side and does pull a lot. That is the only thing I can think of that may contribute to the pain.
The pain in the elbow radiating to wrist and shoulder can be due to tennis elbow or cubital tunnel syndrome. You can help the improvement by: - Give adequate rest to the arm - Apply cold therapy - Use anti-inflamamtory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
