General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Pain in the bottom of foot mainly due to the plantar fasciitis and Plantar calcaneal bursitis.
Following are symptoms of plantar fasciitis and Plantar calcaneal bursitis.
If it is severe with first step of the day and then gradually decrease highly suggestive of the plantar fasciitis.
If pain in the central plantar area then highly suggestive of Plantar calcaneal bursitis.
Both conditions may be associated with mild swelling.
Following are the risk factors: overweight, chronic standing
Other causes that cause pain in the bottom of foot are:
Compression of L5 and S1 nerve root, calcaneal stress fracture, calcaneal bursitis,
I advice you to consult the orthopedic surgeon to diagnose above causes after proper investigations like:
Physical examination of foot: dorsiflexion is limited in the plantar fasciitis.
X-ray of foot and USG of foot identifies the thicken plantar fasciitis. MRI should be done to rule out the never compression.
Doctor will give Following treatment:
Complete rest till the pain will diappear, Keep your leg in warm water with added salt, drug like NSAIDS with seritopeptidase help in reduction of pain.
You can wear orthotic device for plantar fasciitis.
If drugs not responds and pain is continue then doctor will give you shockwave therapy and Injection of steroids
Hope I answer your query
Thanking you with kindest regards
Dr. Sagar
