Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Right Of The Chest

Hello, I am a relatively healthy 28yr old female. I have been experiencing discomfort in my chest. Mainly on the right side, along with discomfort when inhaling and slight pain in my back; upper right side. It is also uncomfortable to swallow. The discomfort is overall like the feeling you have when you eat too fast and feel like it s all still lodged in your chest. I have not done any heavy lifting or any movement to my knowledge to promote this discomfort and pain. Please advise. Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the pain could be muscular skeletal. However, we should rule out gastrointestinal problems first. So, should run upper endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound to check it out. Discuss this further with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
