Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Right Side Of The Head

Hi I have had a headache for the past few days mainly in the right hand side of my head. It's to the front nearly over my right eye. This evening I have noticed when I touch the area where the headache is my skin feels bruised when pressed. No sign of a bruise and it kind of eases the headache when I put pressure on it. Should I be concerned?. I've also had a head cold for over a week now.

Hi. Welcome to Health Care Magic,
As per your query, this type of headache can be due to many reasons. Common reasons are mentioned below
1. Most common is elevated blood pressure.
2. Sinusitis- which is infection of sinuses
3. Cluster headache or migraine.
4. Meningitis- which is infection of layers of brain

Treatment depends upon the cause. In mean while you could take anti inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen/acetaminophen. Get your blood pressure checked.

So you should visit a physician/neurospecialist (head specialist), If problem persist

Hope you get the query
