Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Shoulder

Thanks, i have had 3 major back surgeries resulting in fused vertebrae from s1 to t12 (7 levels) i have 2 artificial hips and 2 levels of fusion in my neck. I also have pain on my left shoulder resulting from a stroke. Arthritis in EVERY joint in my body. Taking prescribed opiates with a little sedentary relief, but i cant stand or walk more than 10-15 minutes without excruciating 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 on the pain meter. Do you feel cannabis might alleviate some of the pain so i can be more active? If so, where should i go to find a doctor willing to work with me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Using cannabis will make your nerves numb for transient period of times and it works for pain suppression only. I would recommend to review your recent MRI plates if available to think of something which may make you relieve from agony of pain for always without using cannabis or other opiates.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
