Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having a sharp stabbing pain in my right testicle, that comes and goes. However, I cannot decipher if the pain is coming from my testicle or lower groin. It is not painful by touch, and no visible swelling. However, the pain is moderate to severe when it happens but only last a few seconds.
I think you are possibly suffering from a urinogenital tract infection. Your signs look like orchiepidydimitis. You should do a urine analysis and STD tests. Possibly you may need to take doxycycline.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
