I have pain in my upper legs..if I sit down and my body is lower than my hips my leg from the groin to the top of my knee locks up and become stiff and I have to roll.out of my chair and support myself until I can straighten out.. I have had an hip x-ray and nothing shows..I was wondering if it could be something dropped and causing ptrsdureaz I had acompleyr hysterectomy years ago and my bladder is not tipped but could it have dropped as the surgery was extensive and lots of steel pins from having everything pinned up? Thank
In most cases, thigh pain can be treated with home remedies such as:
1. Ice
2. Heat
3. Over-the-counter medications such as Acetaminophen (Tylenol) or Ibuprofen (Advil)
4. Weight management
5. Moderating activity
6. Stretching and strengthening exercises for the pelvis, hip, and core
However, if those measures don’t provide relief after several days or if more serious symptoms accompany the pain, you should seek medical treatment. In some cases, physical therapy, prescription medications, and surgery may be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
