yes I injured my arm at work the wrist area heard apop and intense pain then swelling showed 30 minutes later.this happened on the 10 of this month and I seen a doctor at emergency room told me I have sprain and probly torn tendons and refered me to orthopedic well have not seen him yetbut its been 7 days now and the swelling and pain has got a lot worse the pain hurt real bad when I grip something and release my hand ,I feel intease hurting pain from wrist to my elbow ,I work in the field of construction using ahelti nail gun that shoot anail into steel beam the gun kick back like a gun on my wrist what could be causeing this pain like this
As per your detailed history, it may be a fracture at wrist joint as you have severe pain and swelling. Kindly do X-ray of that wrist joint after consultation with orthopedician. You can take tab. Aceclofenac for pain and apply Diclofenac ointment or spray. Don't give much pressure over that hand or avoid wrist movement.
