Suggest Treatment For Pain, Itching And Redness Of The Legs
I was outside and a big fly keep irrating my legs. i went inside and with in minutes stared itching and painful. also red i but cold water and ice packs on it. helped alot but one leg is still slightly swallon? I took 2 benadryl. is this something to worry about.
I read your message and understood your medical issue.
You have painful, itching and red legs after you went out. Ice helped but one leg is slightly swollen.
You have used Benadryl which is an anti-histaminic drug that helps a lot in allergies.
These symptoms were due to the big fly that kept irritating your legs. Sometimes, due to itching, secondary skin infection can happen and antibiotics should be used.
Give a few more days to recover totally. Raise your legs. Keep applying cold compresses and take oral Benadryl, and apply topical anti-histaminic cream.
If you don't see any improvements with Benadryl go see a dermatologist.
Hope this helped Dr.Albana
