Have pain in the top third of my penis, when I pee it starts to come out split then goes into a steady stream, I just finished a antibiotic ( Levofloxacin 500mg) prescribed by my PCP it fills like I may have a kidney stone stuck. I am 69 years old in somewhat good shape, did have right knee replacement in September last year an they did install a catheter an have had problems since. Thanks Ray

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You have scalding urinating pain along with pain over tip of penis

It could be acute UTI or stone in urinary tract ...
You needs to investigate with ...
-Urine examination
-USG

According to stone size further management done
Stone of less than 8 mm size usually expelled with medication and more water
But for big stone laser or surgical intervention neeeded

Complete prescribed antibiotics course

Advise : Urologist consultation for examination And subsequent management

Take care
