Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Sir/Mam,
The pain that you are complaining about is seen very commonly after injury to the ligaments around the ankle joint or incase of tendinitis. Since you are complaining of trauma and there has been no swelling i presume it to be a ligament injury ( though swelling is commonly seen even in such a case). I suggest you get a xray done to rule out any bony injuries. Til then a course of analgesics and anti inflamtory drugs will help. Not putting weight on the injured limb will also help. Hope this has helped you.
