Suggest Treatment For Pain On The Medial Side Of Talus Bone
Good morning sir, three days back I have fallen down playing badminton...my ankle got injured and I'm experiencing pain on the medial side of talus bone...I'm not able to apply pressure on my foot n walk...plzz tel me wat kind of injury it could be and care to be taken...thank u..and there is no swelling.
Dear Sir/Mam, The pain that you are complaining about is seen very commonly after injury to the ligaments around the ankle joint or incase of tendinitis. Since you are complaining of trauma and there has been no swelling i presume it to be a ligament injury ( though swelling is commonly seen even in such a case). I suggest you get a xray done to rule out any bony injuries. Til then a course of analgesics and anti inflamtory drugs will help. Not putting weight on the injured limb will also help. Hope this has helped you.
