Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms you are suffering from inflammation of the mucosal surfaces of mouth known as
STOMATITIS and it can be due to certain common conditions like
Nutritional deficiency of Iron,
Vitamin B12 and
folic acid, stress,
allergic reaction to certain medication or foods, dry mouth, reduced immunity, oral infections like thrush, physical injury caused by denture in denture wearers etc.
Nothing to worry , consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and treatment of the underlying cause will resolve the symptoms..
As of now to relieve the symptoms you can gargle using a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine especially during meals to prevent discomfort.
Take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.
Gargle with cold water and suck on ice pops as it help in reducing inflammation and relieve the redness and pain.
Avoid hot and spicy foods and other irritating foods and liquids.
Take a soft diet.
Drink plenty of water.
Chew sugarfree chewing gums as it helps in stimulating saliva flow.
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
