Hello,

As per your history, I think you had gall stones 20 years back for which you had a surgery. Now you have developed hematuria,(dark brown colored urine is mixture of blood and urine) with severe pain. Pain is severe enough to give you vomiting. Most probable cause for this severe pain and hematuria is kidney stones as you are prone to develop stones. You need work up for recurrent stones like uric acid levels, oxalate and calcium levels in urine and urine examination for any Crystal's. Serum electrolytes and arterial blood gases may also need to done. Meanwhile, if you pee on a floor you might catch a stone coming out from urethra. You can get its chemical analysis done. All this workup will reveal the cause and whole process is a time taking process. My advice would be to follow your doctor who is proceeding in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
