Suggest Treatment For Pain While Stretching Legs

I was standing against the wall and my partner lifted my left leg slowly to my head and i felt like i was too flexible so i wanted to try the maximum split , so my partner lifted my left leg above my head where i heard a huge pop sound , i suddenly started to feel very dizzy and i was not able to walk at all with that huge pain . Its been nearly 4 months and its not cured yet . i cant even strech my leg without pain. I tried going to physio therapist but its not effective. I used applying ice everyday but not effective. What should i do now?.Please kindly help me with this problem.

Hello,

It looks like as if you have torn your muscle or ligaments with that excessive pull. I will advice to go for MRI of the pelvis for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepak Sundriyal, Oncologist
