I had a day bed spring fall on my head 2 weeks ago, The bruising is gone, but I still have a lump. It is hard and doesn't move, but my right eye bruised and I seem to have that eye get tired and achy by the end of the day. Ice helps, should I seek a doctors help or will it get better with more time?
Hello It seems from the history that you are having bruising of the eye following injury. The lump is because of heamatoma as a result of collection of blood in the layers of skin as a result of impact of trauma. This will decrease by itself slowly as the blood gets absorbed slowly. Applying cold compression provides symptomatic relief. If you are having any visual problems or redness and pain of the eyes then you need to consult your doctor otherwise no need to worry.
Thank you
