Suggest Treatment For Painful And Swollen Glands On Neck
I have swollen gland on my neck. The biopsy result said that i have lymphadenitis tuberculosis. After 2 months treatment, i still have the swollen gland. It is not painfull and it is about one inch diameter. So my question is : Is it normal? When the swollen gland will go?? Thank you
Hello, Welcome to hcm You report suggests you have tubercular lymphadenitis. The treatment lasts for 9-12 months. Your swollen glands will decrease slowly with treatment. I advise you to take your antitubercular drugs regularly or else it may cause relapse of the disease or may become drug resistant.
Thank you
