Suggest Treatment For Painful And Swollen Knee Post Injury

Hi, I fell down 4 steps landing on my right knee and then my right side of my chest. The knee was swollen and extremely painful. 4 weeks on my knee is still giving me problems . On the front across the middle. Should I still be having pain after 4 weeks. Thank you Robin Wirth

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the knee injury due to fall then it need to be looked for meniscus damage because it is the only fragile structure inside the knee, it is advisable to get done the MRI till then Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day can be tried try to avoid bending of knee joint hope this information helps.
