Suggest Treatment For Painful Blister In Between Buttocks
my boyfriend has a painful blister on his buttcrack in between his buttcheeks and everytime he separates his butt cheeks it oozes with this brownish pus, i cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and semi put a bandaid with neosporin on it. will that help at all and what else can we do? he is in a lot of pain and can barely sit down, thanks!
It could be abscess formation or infected piles. The pus need to be drained completely as soon as possible. Incision and drainage like minor procedure need to he done for that. You need to apply topical neosporin over that and take oral antibiotic course as well. Kindly consult general surgeon to get it checked and management as I have explained.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
