Suggest Treatment For Painful Bruise On Hand

I have a large bruise on the top of my hand and on the top of my foot with a red splotch within the bruises. The one on my hand has been there for a week but the on my foot just appeared today. They are painful only to the touch. What could they be from?

May be a bug sting or some allergic reaction to the skin. Apply Hydrocortisone cream and, triple antibiotic cream, both twice daily. Take claritin 1 tablet by mouth daily.
