Suggest Treatment For Painful Bruising On Buttocks After Injury

Hi I am an elite professional trampolinist. Last night I went rollerblading with a couple of friends and I landed on my bum. Just above my bum there is a boney thing at the bottom off my back like a ball. It really hurts when I sit on it and hurts when I move sometimes. I really really hope that this is not a bad injury as I really want to get back into my training ASAP. Please could you tell me what the problem is I am very worried. Thank you

First of all go to nearest ER and get an x-ray done. In any injury bones must be evaluated for an injury. By the symptoms you have mentioned it seems that its a muscular injury but x-ray is necessary. Now regarding the swelling without looking at the swelling no doctor can comment. Is it a bruise or something else. Should blood be escavated or not. Many answers can be given only by having a look at the swelling. Mean while you can take tablet nuberol forte (paracetamol+orphenadrine) 1× BD.
