Suggest Treatment For Painful Cervix With Semi Solid Discharge
Hi Doctor , My wife got pain during sexual intercourse for 3 weeks mainly in cervix area. Initially she got burning pain on vaginal wall and cervix . Now vaginal wall pain is releived and cervix pain is still present . She also got semi solid white discharge also . How should we do ?

It is infection of vagina and cervix. I treat my patients with such symptoms in following ways
1 swab (discharge) culture and sensitivity for antibiotics
2 pap smear
3 antibiotics (flagyl)
4 pain killers
Take care of hygiene and avoid sex or use condoms.
