Suggest Treatment For Painful Cough, Stuffy Nose And Sore Throat
started w/a scratchy throat then turned slightly sore throat runny/stuffy nose cough was a basic cough... now it s a hard cough... painful. wheezing/shortness of breath voice starting to get hoarse I do suffer from sinus infections but this doesn t feel like a sinus infection
Hello I appreciate your concern Your symptoms are suggestive of URTI (upper respiratory tract infection) could be due to either bacteria or virus or an allergic reaction another possibility is asthma or COPD I would like to know if you are running fever since how long you have this problem?
In my opinion you should consult a chest physician for examination and investigation to establish an diagnosis, you may require a course of antibiotics.
I would advise you to follow these guidelines You can do gargling with warm saline water or antiseptic mouth wash Deep breathing exercises Avoid cold drinks and icy substances Honey mixed with few drops ginger juice can be used as a home remedy for cough
Hope this helps you Best wishes
