Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of painful itchy rashes on skin which seems to be due to fungal infection, and could be due to allergic reaction due to animal bite, or an insect sting. I would suggest you to:
- Keep area clean and dry and avoid sun exposure
- Avoid application of any cosmetic product
- Apply calamine lotion to prevent itching
- Maintain complete hygiene and wear loose clothes

You should consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antihistamine medication along with cortico-steroid ointment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
