Suggest Treatment For Painful Knuckle

Hi, a couple weeks ago i was working and put my hand down to lean on it so i wouldnt fall over. When I did my knuckle on my pointer finger cracked like a boiled egg shell. It hurt really bad when I first did it and then it lessened some I didnt think anything of it. Now it is tender and hurts to the touch and when i put any pressure on it. Is there something I should be doing to help it heal or figure out what i did?

Dear;
As per history mentioned by you probably ur suffering from a possible crack fracture...which is very much common I fingers as finger bones are not so much strong.
I will suggst u to use a finger splint aling wid painkillers and chymotrypsin .
A xray will be confirmatory.
If swelling increases ir u suffer from loss of functions u may visit a orthopedic surgeon Asap.
