I am a 22 yr old female. I found a lump on my inner thigh when I was about 17. I got it looked at and everything came back fine. Back then it was soft and about the size of a small golf ball but smaller. Back then there was no pain associated with it, and I only felt it when I was looking for it.
Now it is bigger between the size of a tennis ball and golf ball. When I sit I can feel it and it causes pain. Sometimes it hurts all the time and other times its as if it isnt there. It has gotten a little harder but still is a little bit on the soft side. More recently with the pain I feel sick to my stomach all the time, never actually getting physically ill though. I dont have insurance and dont know what to do... any ideas on things I can look into further myself?
1.Lump inner thigh, possibile causes could be enlarged lymph nodes. 2.Lymph nodes are enlarged in presence of any infection / inflammation, it can be localised or systemic, and also lymph nodal pathology itself also. 3.I can understand about insurance status but a minimal investigations are necessary. 4.An ultrasound scan of the lump will give details about the nature of the lump its source and extensions. If required an FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology would help to know the cell type. 5.Fnally depending on the findings treatment will be proceed, Any illness you feel of please get it treated as it can be cause. Do not disturb the lesion - as you can complicate. Good luck.
Hope i have answered your query. Any thing to ask do not hesitate. Thank you.
