Suggest Treatment For Painful Lump On The Head

Hi, I ve recently discovered a hard lump on the top of my head, when I touch it, it shoots pain down my head, I ve also noticed my head feels very heavy and I m getting a lot of neck pain and my neck feels like it can not support my head, is this normal?

Thanks for posting on HCM
That is not normal.The symptoms you present suggest something going wrong in the head that needs to be investigated and the lump on the head might just be a secondary location.I will rather suggest you get a head CT scan, see a Doctor for interpretation.This will reveal all you need to know about the nature of the lump and what is happening in your head.Your treatment however will depend on the exact cause of your symptoms.In the meantime, a steroidal antiinflammatory like dexamethasone for say 5 days may help to make you feel better.
