Suggest Treatment For Painful Muscle Spasms From Thigh To Knee
I get muscle spazims at night. From the inside of my thigh to knee . Extreme pain, hard to keep quiet not wake the wife. Can t stand or walk. only sit on edge of bed and wait them out . About ten minutes Have gotten them in both legs at same time Can you help. Have had this problem for 20 + years.

Doctor may order CT scan or MRI of spine .Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory , muscle relaxants , narcotics or tricyclic antidepressants. Doctor may also recommend surgery . Doctor may also recommend surgery in which surgeons can remove the bone spur or the portion of the herniated disk that's pressing on the pinched nerve. For now apply warm compresses and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Apply warm compresses to knee , thigh and back . Gentle massage with flax seed oil will also be helpful .
